The Pittsburgh Steelers received some great news about wide receiver Chase Claypool. An MRI indicated that Claypool has avoided a season-ending toe injury. He likely won't be ready to go this week for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they take on the 0-8 Detroit Lions. Claypool is now considered week-to-week and he will miss some time but will be back sometime in the future.
Pittsburgh is having an interesting year. They haven't played well by any means but they've done enough to be in second place of the AFC North. The AFC North is arguably the most competitive division in football. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have been able to sneak out some victories to keep them afloat. Getting Claypool back is going to be great for the Steelers as they are going to have to take care of business for the next half of the season.

This is going to be tough for them to secure a playoff spot but Ben Roethlisberger has proven throughout his career that he can make things happen. Roethlisberger and the Steelers have to be ecstatic to get Claypool back as he is one of their top receivers. Pittsburgh usually has a stretch in the season where they go on a big winning streak and this would be the perfect time to do it.
