The Pittsburgh Steelers have a plethora of wide receivers. Star player JuJu Smith-Schuster leads the pack, but the other spots are undetermined. The answer to who plays behind Smith-Schuster may be coming soon, as fellow receiver Donte Moncrief is back at practice after breaking his ring finger, according to Pro Football Talk.

Moncrief spent last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but only appeared in 10 games. In those 10 games, he notched 668 yards and three touchdowns.

Moncrief has never hit 1,000 yards, and in all honesty has never been a dangerous receiver. But the Steelers are struggling for a number two option, and Moncrief looks like the best man for the job. The only real competition comes from second-year player James Washington.

Washington was a second round pick, but hardly played last year. The former Oklahoma State receiver flashed in Week 1 of the preseason, so maybe he can push Moncrief for the job.

With Smith-Schuster being locked into the number one job, and the other two fighting for the second outside receiver job, all that's left is the slot position. Ryan Switzer played a good amount of snaps last year, but didn't produce great numbers. Switzer does have some competition, and could easily lose the job. Longtime Steeler Eli Rogers has had his shot to play, and was disappointing. More likely to take the job is rookie receiver Diontae Johnson. Johnson is a terrific route-runner, and has really impressed head coach Mike Tomlin throughout camp. The former Toledo Rocket didn't play in the first preseason game due to injury, but has plenty of time to recover and compete.
