Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner just continues to put up ridiculous numbers. He had another great game against the Baltimore Ravens as he had 163 yards from scrimmage with a receiving touchdown to help the Steelers to a 23-16 win.

With that game, Conner became the first player in NFL history with four games of 100+ rushing yards, 50+ receiving yards and a touchdown in a single season.

Moreover, Conner also became the first Steeler in franchise history with 10 touchdowns through the first eight games of a season, per Ray Fittipaldo of the Post-Gazette.

Conner has been instrumental in the Steelers’ current four-game winning streak. He’s averaged 172 yards from scrimmage and has scored seven touchdowns during that span.

Conner’s amazing all-around play has been reminiscent of the numbers Le'Veon Bell has routinely put up. But even with the All-Pro running back still nowhere to be found, the Steelers haven’t missed him one bit because of Conner’s similarly impressive production.

He currently has 1,085 yards from scrimmage this season, which puts him on pace to challenge Bell's franchise record of 2,215 all-purpose yards.

Conner’s ability as a receiver has been particularly surprising. While he was considered a good runner coming out of college, the big question mark about him was whether he could contribute to the passing game. It’s only been eight games, but he’s answered those questions as emphatically as possible this season.

Conner will look to continue his historic season next week against the Carolina Panthers, who have a dynamic second-year back of their own in Christian McCaffrey.
