The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be without JuJu Smith-Schuster on Sunday after he reaggravated his knee injury during Thursday's practice according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

This is a big set back because all signs were pointing towards Smith-Schuster being able to go against the Buffalo Bills but the problem during practice.

One good thing to come out of Thursday's practice involved running back James Conner's health. Steelers offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner said that Conner had another good day in practice and he should be good to go on Sunday.

Fichtner said that Conner should be ready to go because he has stayed mentally in the game, even when he has missed games during practice.

“His mind’s been right,” Fichtner said via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “The thing about the guys is they all want to be back, and they seem to understand that you’ve got to stay in it. You can't just be dead for two weeks or three weeks, then say, ‘Oh, I’m healthy physically.’

“You’ve got to stay in it, mentally. You’ve got to stay on top of all that, and I'm really proud of how they both have done that. But our group has been like that all year. Vance [McDonald], same thing.”

Even without Smith-Schuster, the Steelers need to find a way to win Sunday's game. The Steelers currently have an 8-5 record which is good enough for a wild card spot, but a loss in this game could mean the team will end up missing out on the playoffs.
