The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tough season opener against the New England Patriots, and fans can still remember the disaster that happened the last time they met in Week 1. However, head coach Mike Tomlin believes that the team will be able to do fine.
The team was plagued with technical issues: their headsets stopped working properly that played a role in the devastating opening-day defeat they experienced at the Gillette Stadium in 2015.
Tomlin, who was calling the shots in that game, believes that there's no reason for those issues to happen again:

Tomlin added: “These guys are competitors. It's a competitive environment up there (in New England). I'd like to change some of those outcomes, but the only one we can control is the one that lies in front of us.”
The Steelers haven't had a great record playing at the Patriots' stomping grounds. They were the first team the Pats played in the 2002 season opener, the first year they moved into the stadium. Their last game at the Gillette Stadium was also a loss.
There are also plenty of personnel changes that happened since the 2015 opener. Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell have moved on from the team and are playing for other teams. However, Ben Roethlisberger is still a quality QB and will provide a great challenge to Tom Brady.
