The tragic news of the passing of Dwayne Haskins has sent shockwaves across the NFL world. His last NFL coach in Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Tomlin couldn't help but share his “heartbroken” reaction to Haskins' untimely demise.
The sad news on Dwayne Haskins was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter:
Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before becoming Washington’s first-round pick and playing in Pittsburgh, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders. Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3.

Mike Tomlin quickly released an emotional statement via the Steelers' official Twitter account on his reaction to the news on Dwayne Haskins.
“I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins. He quickly became part of our Steelers family upon his arrival in Pittsburgh and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community. Dwayne was a great teammate, but even more so a tremendous friend to so many. I am truly heartbroken,” said the Steelers head coach.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Kalabrya, and his entire family during this time.”

Haskins found a second home in Pittsburgh after moving on from an up and down situation in Washington.
Dwayne Haskins was, in fact, training with several members of the Steelers organization in South Florida at the time before the incident that took his life.
