The Pittsburgh Steelers managed to secure a win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. Unfortunately, it appears quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was unable to make it out unscathed.
Roethlisberger fractured a finger on his left hand during the 33-18 win. However, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, head coach Mike Tomlin does not deem the injury to be too serious:

The update is undoubtedly encouraging. The fact that the finger is not on his throwing hand is also further evidence of optimism. However, it is still far-fetched to assume it will be a non-factor against the formidable Ravens' defense.
It is unclear when exactly the injury occurred which makes it difficult to gauge how much of an impact it had in Sunday's performance. It was a typical day at the office for Roethlisberger after completing 24-of-36 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He may have even put up bigger numbers had it not been for the massive success of Pittsburgh's run game.
However, the Steelers will have their work cut out this week against the Ravens. Baltimore's defense proved to be too for Pittsburgh's offense after holding them to a season-low 14 points. Fortunately, they have managed to bounce back from that loss to secure the top spot in the AFC North. Regardless, it is safe to assume Roethlisberger will be looking to get some revenge with a big game this Sunday.
