The Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a victory over the Miami Dolphins. However, the win didn't come without a cost: James Conner went down with a shoulder injury.

Michael Giardi reported the latest addition to the team's injury report. The running back has still not gone through MRI, and the extent of the injury remains to be seen. Depending on the severity, it can either last anywhere from two weeks until the end of the season.

This is a huge loss for the Steelers as Conner has become one of the team's go-to running backs after Le'Veon Bell's departure from the team. Last season, he finished with 973 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. This year, his tally sits at 235 yards and three touchdowns.

Moreover, the challenges he had to fight through just to make it back on the field will make anyone want to root for the guy. He told Teresa Varley of Steelers.com that he will play football again no matter what.

“I will play football again. I will be at Heinz Field again. I have the best coaches and teammates in the country. I thank God I chose Pitt because now I also have the best doctors in the country and together, we will win. I know this city has my back.”

The fans will be hoping that his injury isn't anything serious and he will be able to come back for their next game.
