Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster knows he is a veteran now and he needs to lead by example in practice. He has been at every practice this offseason and has been making sure to give 110 percent effort at all times.

Smith-Schuster told Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he wants to show all the young guys he is here to work hard and that the team is the most important thing to him.

“It’s very important,” Smith-Schuster said. “There are some new guys on the team, and building that chemistry and that connection means a lot. Me just being here, being around other guys, shows I’m ready to play, I’m all about the team, I’m all about us. We’re here for one reason.”

Smith-Schuster, who is just 22, also seems very excited about the guys in the wide receiver room because they are team first, something that wasn't always the case when Antonio Brown was around.

“Everyone is there for each other,” Smith-Schuster said. “There’s no individual. Everyone’s into playing, winning games, the Super Bowl. Everybody’s on the same page. Yesterday we dominated, today we dominated. You can see that connection with Ben [Roethlisberger], with [Josh] Dobbs, with Mason [Rudolph].”

It's clear that the Steelers are trying to introduce a new culture with Brown and Le'Veon Bell out of the picture and it has been a big talking point all off-season.

Hopefully, it results in wins on the field, but at least it shouldn't result in big blowups post game between players.
