Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt has had a busy summer. Watt negotiated a new contract with his team, and he is now working with Pittsburgh at their training camp. Watt is giving his impression of seeing veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers work at camp.

“It's been awesome, it really has been,” Watt said, per NFL Network. “Very challenging the way that he plays football…He really changes a lot of calls at the line of scrimmage. He has a lot of moxie to him.”

Watt and Rodgers are tasked with helping the Steelers reach the postseason yet again under head coach Mike Tomlin. Tomlin is facing some pressure from Steelers fans to win again in the postseason. It's been nearly a decade since Pittsburgh won an NFL playoff game.

Rodgers signed a deal with Pittsburgh right before OTAs this summer. His contract-signing ended months of speculation about whether he would retire, or return to the NFL. Rodgers spent the last two years with the New York Jets; it was a marriage that didn't end well.

Watt recently signed a contract extension worth $123 million over three years.

Pittsburgh is bringing in a lot of new talent this year to help the squad. Rodgers is leading the offense, and wide receiver DK Metcalf will be helping him with moving the football. New cornerback Jalen Ramsey meanwhile will be working in the team's secondary.

All of this new yet experienced talent is presenting a challenge to coach Tomlin.

“I am embracing the challenge of trying to teach an old dog a new trick,” Tomlin said in a recent interview with Kyle Brandt. “Guys that have been around this league and done it at a high-level.”

Tomlin says working with Rodgers especially brings its own set of challenges.

“He’s seen it and done it all. Everything is a re-run. It’s my job to make sure that he’s engaged, that he’s having fun,” Tomlin added.

Time will tell if Tomlin's teachings get through to the team. Pittsburgh starts their NFL preseason schedule on August 9, in a game with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
