The Pittsburgh Steelers have lost quite a bit of talent this offseason, however, they still aim to be one the best teams in the AFC North. The NFL draft will fill some holes on the roster, but they have some legitimate talent on the offense fans should be excited about.

JuJu Smith-Schuster decided to stay in Pittsburgh for at least one more year after signing a one-year deal this offseason. The Steelers wide receiver room is loaded with young talent, and it seems as though Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool are building chemistry amongst each other, per USA Today. In fact, Smith-Schuster sees a lot of himself in his teammate.

“He's like a little version of me because he's doing the whole marketing thing, he's doing YouTube, everything that he can.”

It is true. Claypool can be easily found providing takes on his Youtube channel where he's already received some heat after talking down on the Cleveland Browns after suffering a loss to them in the playoffs last year.

Smith-Schuster was ecstatic about Claypool joining the Steelers after getting drafted in 2020. He spoke about it on Micael Irvin's Podcast.

“When he got drafted, I hit him up like, ‘Yo, bro! Super stoked to have you on the team.'”

The two have built quite the friendship over the last year, as they apparently are neighbors in the same apartment complex. Smith-Schuster went on to add that Claypool lives right above him and, on occasion, Chase will go to JuJu's for dinner and hang out.

Pittsburgh aims to have a solid passing offense next year, as Claypool aims to make massive improvements to his game. Between him, Smith-Schuster, and Diontae Johnson, the Steelers should have a prominent passing attack. That is if age doesn't become a factor to Ben Roethlisberger.
