Mason Rudolph is playing his first NFL start for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is showing Steelers Nation that they shouldn't worry about Big Ben's absence as long as he's around.
He showcased the fantastic connection between him and star wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster during the third quarter. It was a beautiful 75-yard play that fans will hopefully see more of in the coming weeks.

Rudolph was understandably excited and hugged his offensive line in thanks. They gave him all the time in the world to make the pass. Props must also be given to Smith-Schuster for burning his mark and running all the way the endzone uninterrupted.
The Steelers understandably tried to lower the expectations for Rudolph's first start as they didn't want to put unnecessary pressure on him. However, his performance so far shows that the Oklahoma State product is ready for the NFL's bright lights.
Even Smith-Schuster is excited about what Rudolph can bring to the team. It seems like the Steelers found their new Big Ben-AB combo for the future.
