Derek Carr and the Oakland Raiders’ offense were crippled by the Washington Raiders Sunday night, with the Raiders absorbing a 27-10 loss, their first of the season.

Carr had an awful night, passing for only 118 yards on 19 of 31 attempts to go with a touchdown and two interceptions. Overall, Oakland only had 128 total yards, a far cry from the 240 yards per game the team averaged in its previous two contests.

The loss to the Redskins left a bitter taste in the mouth of Oakland fans, but that doesn’t mean their Sunday would end without seeing something positive from the team.

Just before the game, Carr was spotted by fans at FedExField doing a kind gesture that should warm everybody's hearts, even those of Raiders haters. Carr momentarily stopped warming up for the game to spend some time with a fan in a wheelchair who was wearing a Khalil Mack jersey on the sidelines. Carr eventually signed a football while sharing some words with the man.

The Raiders had a forgettable Week 3 on the field, but for this fan, it’s a day he’ll always remember fondly.
