Lynch, a fine player and analyst, has arguably been even better as a front office executive. Since joining the 49ers in 2017, Lynch has helped the team to two double-digit win seasons, a Super Bowl berth and an appearance in the NFC Championship game.

Lynch has helped build a bully of a defense, found talented offensive stars in George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, and even found a potential quarterback of the future in Trey Lance.

It's no wonder that John Lynch didn't even want to think about leaving the 49ers.
