Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown had a fantastic rookie campaign, playing in every game and hauling in 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns.

But the University of Mississippi product sees even bigger things in store for his sophomore year.

“I think the sky’s the limit for me, to be honest,” Brown said, according to Terry McCormick of Titans Insider. “I’m a great learner and I’m going to keep learning each and every day. The biggest thing to my game is I’m a huge learner. … The details are going to show up, and that’s what’s going to pay off for me.”

Brown was originally selected by the Titans in the second round (51st pick overall) of the NFL Draft last spring.

He joined a Tennessee receiving corps that already consisted of Corey Davis and 2019 free-agent pickup Adam Humphries, but it didn't take long for Brown to establish himself as the top dog.

“I think I’m a natural born leader,” said Brown. “As a rookie, I didn’t really come in here and say too much. I just had to come in and show that I’m a hard worker myself,” he said. “I hold myself accountable and now that I have some of my teammates’ respect, I can start holding other people accountable too.”

As good as Brown was in Year 1, he understands he still has some areas that could use some improvement:

“The things I do well, I want to improve on those,” said the 22-year-old. “The things that I struggle with, I want to work on those too and be a complete, well-rounded football player.”

The Titans won nine games and made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game this past season thanks much in part to Brown's contributions.
