Earlier this week, a tornado struck Nashville, Tennessee. Many have been helping residents deal with the aftermath. While helping the people affected by the tornado, Mike Vrabel — the head coach of the Tennessee Titans — bluntly responded to how people can help in wake of disaster in Tennessee.

In today's society, when a disaster takes place, there are many people that naturally decide to pull out their phones to take pictures or videos of the aftermath. But instead of doing that, Vrabel exclaimed that they should put down their phones and start helping make a difference.

Of course, there are going to be people that believe that Vrabel is being the typical old man, yelling at the younger generation. However, his statement to the people recording on their phones does have some substance to it.

Rather than attend some pro days to prepare for the upcoming draft, Vrabel chose to transport some supplies to Tennessee. The former linebacker was seen helping give out supplies and was aiding in the clean-up process.

Besides Vrabel, Titans general manager Jon Robinson and other members of the Titans organization also helped hand out supplies. Also, some players and coaches spoke to some members of the communities that had their homes ravaged by the tornado.

Additionally, when the tornado first occurred, the Titans donated $1 million to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. While some people idly watch, Vrabel and other members of the Titans are making a difference in helping communities overcome tragedy. The former NFL linebacker realizes that the recovery process could happen quicker if more people were willing to help.
