Based on the way Ryan Tannehill played in 2019, you wouldn't think the Tennessee Titans' quarterback situation would be in limbo, but it is.
Tannehill is set to be a free agent in March, and general manager Jon Robinson is not committing to him just yet, saying “we'll see how it goes” when asked whether or not Tannehill would be the starter in 2020, according to John Glennon of The Athletic.
Of course, this could just be Robinson playing it safe, as Tannehill could end up landing a rather hefty pay day this offseason. Plus, the Titans also having to worry about re-signing star running back Derrick Henry, so cash may be limited.
On the other side of the coin, Robinson's comment will fuel speculation about the potential of Tom Brady heading to Tennessee.
Some have named the Titans as a possible destination for Brady in free agency, with some even going as far to say that Tennessee is the frontrunner to land the 42-year-old.

In 12 appearances and 10 starts on the season, the 31-year-old threw for 2,742 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 70.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 117.5 en route to his first Pro Bowl appearance.
Tannehill also led Tennessee to the AFC Championship Game, where the Titans ultimately fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Texas A&M product had spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins, where he never achieved nearly the amount of success he did during his first season in Tennessee.
