The Tennessee Titans entered the 2019 postseason as the sixth seed. Despite that, they managed to turn some heads.

They did so by upsetting the New England Patriots in the Wild Card round. Then they followed that up with an even bigger upset, beating the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round.

All that meant they met the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. While the game started off great for the Titans, it was the Chiefs that ended up winning.

That means the Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl to play the winners of the NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers.

It also means that the six seed Titans did not make the Super Bowl. That adds on another year to the run. The last team to make the Super Bowl as a sixth seed was the Packers back in 2010.

Funnily enough, they are playing to make the biggest game of the year again this year. They did not enter as a sixth seed, though.

Meanwhile, the sixth seed is still finding it challenging to make the Super Bowl. That shouldn't be all that surprising though if we're being honest.
