Corey Davis is having the best season of his career and the former first-round pick is off to a fast start on Sunday. Following a game-tying touchdown by the Detroit Lions, Ryan Tannehill connected with Davis on a 75-yard touchdown to give the Tennessee Titans a lead in the first quarter.

It is well-known that the Titans love to feed Derrick Henry as much as possible on the ground. Therefore, when Tennessee decides to throw the ball, they tend to run play-action, causing defenses to be on their heels.

Also, when the Titans run play-action passes, they have shown a tendency to take shots down the field often. Whether it be Davis or A.J. Brown, Tennessee has had plenty of deep passes for touchdowns this season, including a flea-flicker touchdown just last week versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With his 75-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter, Davis now has 57 catches for 910 yards and five touchdowns. His 910 receiving yards and five touchdowns are both career-bests for the former No. 5 overall pick out of Western Michigan.

Similar to last season, the Titans are leaning on their ground attack with Henry to set up their passing offense. But seeing how Davis is playing this season, Tennessee's aerial offense may be even better than it was a season ago when they advanced to the AFC Championship Game.

After the Titans' clash with the Lions, they'll square off against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.
