The Tennessee Titans got a pair of bad breaks Sunday. Not only did they lose a tight contest to the Los Angeles Rams at home, 27-23, they are also in danger of missing running back DeMarco Murray at least for Week 17’s regular-season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Murray sustained a knee injury in the Rams game and is set to go through an MRI test on Monday for further diagnosis.

Murray exited the game with only 2:23 left in regulation, and had to be assisted to the sidelines before heading for the locker room.

If Murray failed to play against the Jags, he’d finish with the fewest rushing yards total in a season so far in his seven-year NFL career with 659 – four yards short of the 663 rushing yards he had in 2012 with the Dallas Cowboys.
Should Murray get eventually ruled out, Titans running back Derrick Henry will spearhead Tennessee’s ground attack that ranks 15th in the NFL with 114.5 rushing yards per game next Sunday.
