Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder is expected to oversee the entire operations of the organization heading to the 2021 NFL season. He reportedly bought out the 40.5% minority stake from the other owners in order to gain full ownership of the team, per Joe Pompliano.

Dam Snyder found himself in hot water after he was accused of instigating a sexist workplace revolving around the team's cheerleaders. He was also reported to be the mastermind behind the lewd videos of the women which were taken during a calendar shoot back in 2008.

Prior to the 2020 NFL season, Snyder encountered another huge hurdle when several sponsors threatened to drop out of their deal with the team if they continue to play under the ‘Redskins' moniker. Due to the clamor received from the public amid the Black Lives Matter Movement, Snyder was forced to make a rebrand for the entire organization where he chose to instate the ‘Washington Football Team' name.

Despite the countless issues encountered in previous seasons, the Washington Football is taking steps in the right direction on the field. They previously finished the 2020 NFL season with a 7-9 record to nab the first spot in the NFC East.

Head coach Ron Rivera almost led the team to an upset victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the opening round but eventually lost on a 30-23 defeat. Dan Snyder's acquisition of the full ownership of the team will help him avoid a forced sale which could come his way depending on the outcome of the league's investigations.

Hopefully, things will get better for the Washington Football Team as Dan Snyder seeks to steer the team back on the right track as its full owner moving forward.
