Apart from offering SNES and NES games alongside the Nintendo Switch Online membership service, Nintendo announced that it will be adding two more console emulators on the Switch. The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack gives players access to select Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles. 

The September Nintendo Direct had a lot of interesting announcements. Most of these announcements involve new games and new updates. But Nintendo surprised everyone when they announced that Nintendo Switches will start offering Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games as well. 

Fans will also have the opportunity to get wireless versions of the classic controllers. Both the N64 and Sega Genesis controllers will launch in stores once the expansion pass releases. Both controllers will be available for purchase for Nintendo Switch Online Members at $49.99 each.

Nintendo shared that the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack will be coming in October, but they have not yet revealed how much the expansion pack will cost.
