The Denver Nuggets have released their schedule of preseason games, and it includes four road games and a match at home against a team from the Land Down Under.

Stretching from late September into early October, the Nuggets’ preseason schedule also features three games at Staples Center. First is a back-to-back against Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas’ former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Speaking of Thomas, he’s still in the middle of recovering from a recent hip surgery, though, he could be available to play in these contests, as he’s said before he’ll be ready for training camp, which will come a week earlier than Denver’s first preseason game.

The lone preseason game at Pepsi Center will occur on Oct. 9 against the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League in Australia. The Wildcats should give Denver a good fight. They have won three titles over the last five NBL seasons and will be bannered by former college stars in Bryce Cotton of Providence and Jameel McKay of Iowa State. McKay was a former college teammate by Nuggets point guard Monte Morris. The Wildcats are also just one of the four NBL teams that will participate in the NBA preseason.

Lastly, the Nuggets will close out their preseason campaign against the Chicago Bulls on the road on Oct. 12
