Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic just exploded for 33 points in the first half of Sunday's game against the Utah Jazz, and he isn't looking to stop there.

Jokic went insane with 33 points on 13-of-17 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and chipped in five boards and three dimes as the Nuggets went into the half up 79-54 against the Jazz, who have won 11 straight heading into this game.

He was one of the preseason favorites for NBA MVP, and while the Nuggets got off to a slow start, they have picked it up as of late—and Jokic has been on fire all season long.

Jokic is averaging a career-high 25.7 points with 11.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game out of the gate, and the Nuggets have vaulted into the top four in the Western Conference.

He does it all, hits 3-pointers, drives to the hoop, turnaround jumpers, you name it and Jokic is doing it at a high level so far this season. He had 35 points against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, and has scored 20 or more points in every game since Jan. 10, and has recorded double-digits in scoring in every single game of this NBA season.

The Jazz hasn't lost in forever, but if Jokic keeps this up then Utah will lose their first game since Jan. 6 when they lost to the New York Knicks.

Jokic is undoubtedly playing at an MVP level, and he could drop 50 against the Jazz on Sunday if he keeps it going at this rate.
