Shaq might know that Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade and Aaron Gordon of the Denver Nuggets have an interesting relationship. It's a relationship filled with bitterness and even a diss track. On Thursday, the two linked up again and Shaquille O'Neal decided to make things a little bit more interesting.

Wade, who's an analyst for NBA on TNT, had a chance to talk to the new Denver Nuggets forward after the Nuggets' 101-94 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. The Miami Heat legend interestingly chose to rekindle their Slam Dunk Contest beef and asked why Aaron Gordon was rocking #50 for his new team – even if everyone on planet earth knows the answer to the question already.

After Aaron Gordon responded and flexed on how he had the most 50s in Slam Dunk Contest history, Shaq went on to troll his former teammate hard as the segment was wrapping up.

“What did you do, give him a nine?” O'Neal asked Wade (via Bleacher Report).

Ouch. For those living under a rock, Wade has been clouded with this Slam Dunk Contest controversy for more than a year now. In the 2020 Slam Dunk Contest, Wade cost Aaron Gordon what would've been his first Slam Dunk Contest title after the Heat legend gave him a 9 in the final round of the 2020 Slam Dunk Contest between him and Derrick Jones, Jr.

Aaron Gordon impressively climbed up Mt. Tacko Fall and threw down a slam which was definitely worthy of a 10. But, to everyone's disappointment, Wade put up a 9 and the rest, as they say, is beef history.

Wade will forever be a 9 according to Aaron Gordon, that's for sure. If they have another encounter on television or in any other circumstance, expect emotions to run high and for one or both men to throw verbal jabs at the other in some form or fashion.
