Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. threw it off the backboard to himself to score a bucket against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

Take a look at the stellar play by the Nuggets youngster.

What these 2020 playoffs have shown is that Michael Porter Jr. has a bright future in the NBA with the Nuggets. The swingman can score from all areas of the court and he does not lack any confidence.

Moving forward, though, Porter Jr. has to improve on defense if he wants to avoid being a liability for the Nuggets on that end of the floor.

However, the Nuggets are certainly thrilled that the former Missouri star has recovered from his well-documented back injuries. It's great to see MPJ playing the game he loves after he missed his entire rookie season in 2018-19.
