O.J. Simpson is now a ‘completely free man.' This is according to ESPN, who reported that the former NFL running back was released from parole early on good behavior, effective December 1. He was released by the parole board a little over two months before he was scheduled, February 9, 2022.

Simpson is most commonly legally connected to the murder trial of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman. However, he was found not guilty in the criminal trial, and has spent the last nine years in prison for other criminal charges.

He was arrested and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas back in 2007. Simpson led a group of men into the Palace Station hotel room of Bruce Fromong, a sports memorabilia dealer. This is according to Fromong, who also said that the men stole memorabilia from him at gunpoint. Simpson was arrested and served nine years before being eligible for parole.

Besides his legal troubles, Simpson has been in the social media limelight recently. Just last month, a young woman posted a video of her meeting the former NFL star at a club in Las Vegas. While she was extremely excited to meet him, he definitely wanted more than just a friendly TikTok cameo. Of course, the TikTok went viral across all platforms, including his favorite, Twitter.
