One of the most anticipated matchups every year in college football happens when the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns meet up. That week is upon us.

For Oklahoma, it's much of the same this year with Lincoln Riley running the show although there have been some down-to-the wire close calls for the Sooners. For Texas, it's a new regime leading the way with Steve Sarkisian in his first year as head coach of the Longhorns.

Despite the turnover, per SI.com, Lincoln Riley doesn't see any big differences with Texas.

“There’s some small differences,” Riley said Tuesday at his weekly press conference. “I mean, they have new coordinators. It's not totally different. It's not like they went from air raid to triple option. It’s not drastic. There’s small things, you can tell, they favor in their scheme.”

As for the rivalry itself between Oklahoma and Texas? It's something Riley looks forward to every single year.

“It's a week we always look forward to every single year,” Riley said. “Excited that it’s here. … We never take for granted because you appreciate it every single year.”

“It's one of the first things that crosses your mind,” he said. “When Bob (Stoops) hired me seven years ago, it was one of the first things that crossed my mind, that I get to coach in this game.”

When No. 6 Oklahoma takes on No. 21 Texas in Week 6 on Saturday, it will be appointment television.
