The College Football scene is undergoing significant changes, as multiple big-name schools are jumping to different conferences. After USC and UCLA announced their transition to the Big Ten, all eyes have been on the Pac-12 and Oregon Ducks. They'll either stay or find another conference and it sounds like Phil Knight is taking matters into his own hands.

According to Out Kick, Uncle Phil “has been cold-calling other conferences to find Oregon a new home. Specifically, Knight reportedly wants to see Oregon land in the SEC or Big Ten.” If that's the case, then the Ducks can likely maintain relevancy in the College Football world.

This program is in a rough spot right now with the conference shifts. With schools jumping ship away from the Pac-12, it's making the entire conference lose legitimacy. Recently it was reported that the Big Ten had denied the Ducks, but Oregon doesn't see themselves remaining in their current conference either, per Out Kick.

“It's clear, at least at this moment in time, that the Big Ten or SEC don't see Oregon as a fit. From Oregon's perspective, the Ducks don't see a makeshift Pac-12 or Big 12 as a viable option either.”

We'll see how it all plays out, but the Ducks are clearly searching for a better situation. Everything is pointing towards the NCAA consisting of super conferences, so if Oregon is patient, perhaps they'll finally find a new home. If not, then hopefully the Pac-12 can reel in some schools to keep the conference competitive.
