Things got real ugly quick on Thursday night in a local high school football game in Edinburg, Texas when a a defensive linesman disconcertingly grabbed the sack of the evening award after he threw down no less than a game official after he was ejected from the game. Emmanuel Duron, a senior from Edinburg High School in Texas ran back on to the field and bulldozed the referee who ejected him.

Here's an initial report from Andrew McCulloch of RGV Sports:

Duron got called for a late hit against an offensive player of the opposing high school and was ultimately ejected for an unsportsmanlike penalty. The PSJA player was initially monitored for concussion-like symptoms after Duron's hit but was fortunately seen walking out the field on his own power.
Obviously, his ejection didn't sit well with the ill-tempered Duron who ran straight back to the field to give the referee a piece of his mind. Per on-ground reports, the referee is also undergoing concussion evaluations.
Duron is the reigning District 31-6A Defensive Player of the Year and is also an award-winning wrestler for his high school. The Earlier this year, Duron was awarded The Monitor's All-Area Boys Wrestler of the Year award after finishing with a 44-8 record at the 220-pound weight division.
The high school footballer was immediately escorted out of the stadium by police after the horrific incident. Woefully, this isn't the first time things got ugly between a player and an official during a high school football match in Texas.
