Overtime Elite announced Wednesday its unique full schedule and roster construction for this upcoming season.

As stated on the website, “OTE (Overtime Elite) is a transformative new sports league that offers the world’s most talented young basketball players a better pathway to becoming professional athletes and engage and inspire a new generation of fans.” OTE players chose to pass up playing in college to participate in this league and earn a six-figure salary and other opportunities while preparing for the next level.

The 27-man league has been split up into three different rosters. While Kevin Ollie is the overall head coach of OTE, each roster has its own head coach, with Dave Leitao, Tim Fanning and Ryan Gomes acting as the three coaches.

As for the schedule, OTE Head of Basketball Operations Brandon Williams explained how a “dynamic” schedule will help the players develop. There will be 37 competitive events from Oct. 25-March 25, with a variety of types of games. These include: Prep Challenges, OTE League Series, Pro Sim Games, Takeovers and OTE Playoffs.

The OTE League Series games will be among the three OTE teams and will be shorter than Prep Challenges, which will be against outside teams. Pro Sim Games won't count for league standings, but the format and structure is modeled after the NBA to help the players get a feel for it. Takeovers are individual events, with winners earning points that go toward the league standings.

The OTE Playoffs then come at the end of all the competition. Here's the full schedule.
