The Indiana Pacers, as far as we know, aren't currently conducting auditions or taking applications for the position of global ambassador. If they ever feel compelled to help market the team with a Drake-style celebrity super fan, though, it's pretty clear who the Pacers should choose.

Award-winning actor Jessie Eisenberg, most notably of The Social Network, told FanSided's Nir Regev that not only does he go to Indiana home games, but he'd relish the opportunity to sit courtside and rabble rouse like Drake does for the Toronto Raptors. He even offered a brief take on the Pacers and Brooklyn Nets' prospects for 2019-20, too.

“Yeah, I’ve been to games. That would be so cool [to be courtside like Drake]! If they’ll have me,” Eisenberg said. “I think they’ll make the playoffs, they were in fifth place this year even without Oladipo for the last month. I’m curious how Brooklyn [Nets] will be this year with their new moves. They have a nice team and I’ve liked watching them in the past.”

Though the 35-year-old Eisenberg grew up in Queens, he became a Pacers fan in the mid-1990s during Reggie Miller's heyday. His wife, Anna Strout, went to Indiana University. The pair reside in Bloomington with their son.

Drake was named the Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, a mostly meaningless title, several years ago, but took his ownership of the team to new heights during its run to the Larry O'Brien Trophy. He interacted with opposing players frequently enough to the point he had a meeting with commissioner Adam Silver, and famously gave Raptors coach Nick Nurse an impromptu shoulder rub in the middle of a game during the Eastern Conference Finals.
