The Indiana Pacers were fighting for dear life on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers with a spot in the play-in tournament on the line. Caris LeVert knew exactly what was at stake, so he made sure to showcase his clutch gene when it mattered most.

LeVert hit an epic step-back jumper with less than a minute remaining to help lift the Pacers over the mighty Sixers (h/t Pacers on Twitter):

With the shot clock winding down and the Pacers up by four points, LeVert knew exactly what he wanted to do. He hit Sixers defender Mike Scott with a nasty stepback to create some separation as he rose up to take a contested three-point attempt. Money.

LeVert's heroics allowed the Pacers to secure a spot in the upcoming play-in tournament. They are currently sitting at the ninth spot in the East with a 33-36 record and are now tied with the eighth-placed Charlotte Hornets.

With the Sixers currently holding onto the top seed in the conference, this could very well have been a preview of the first-round matchup for the Pacers. It was a key win for Indiana as they take on their next remaining games knowing full well that they are very much capable of defeating one of the best teams in the NBA right now.
