For teams who suffered an early exit in the postseason, it's high time for them to look at their roster and see what they can improve upon. The Indiana Pacers, who now have a bona fide star in Victor Oladipo, could use another star player in the mix. Paul George had a relatively bad stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It is almost a guarantee that he'll leave. Are the Pacers and George up for a reunion?

As reported by Dakota Crawford of IndyStar, Pacers general manager Kevin Pritchard commented on the possibility of acquiring George in the offseason. He said:

“I would want to know first that he would fit us. We're different now, Dan. One of the things we're about, we don't care about big names, we don't care about big personalities we don't care about big brands. What we care about is being humble …

“Anybody that fits in, yeah we're interested … I can't talk on specific players. But if they don't fit that, I'm not interested. It's that simple.

Perhaps Pritchard has learned his lesson from the past. Loading your team up with a bunch of superstars won't immediately make you a contender. George, despite being one of the best all-around players in the league, needs to be surrounded by players who can complement his play style.

Though Pritchard did not answer the question directly, he gave a hint that the Pacers are looking to make big moves in the offseason:

“When we look at trades, free agency and the draft, we want those kind of guys. The guys willing to do the little stuff. Everybody is talented in this league … we think our biggest talent was we played the right way.”
