Indiana Pacers guard T.J. Warren has played just four games since the beginning of last season due to several stress fractures in his left foot, but he's now at full strength and back to participating in basketball activities. However, with just 12 games left in the 2021/22 campaign and free agency approaching this summer, Warren isn't going to risk it.

Per Woj:

Bubble Warren was a serious problem, averaging 26.6 points, 6.3 boards, and 2.4 assists in 10 games when the NBA returned during the COVID-stricken 2019/20 season. He hasn't been able to get consistently healthy since though and with the Pacers out of the postseason picture, it makes little sense to play at this point.

That season where the virus first reared its ugly head, Warren dropped nearly 20 points per night on 53% shooting from the field. The Pacers acquired him via trade from the Phoenix Suns in '19 but considering where the franchise is heading in terms of their backcourt with Tyrese Haliburton and Malcolm Brogdon, there's a good chance Warren moves on and signs elsewhere in free agency.

Lots of teams are always looking for guards who can score the rock at a high level therefore he should have no shortage of suitors, especially since they're likely won't be a lot of top-notch UFA perimeter players available.
