The Indiana Pacers had arguably their biggest win of the 2017-18 NBA season on Friday night after stunning the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-102. The Pacers managed to stop the Cavs just short of breaking their franchise record thanks to the late-game heroics of shooting guard Victor Oladipo.

Oladipo is in the midst of his finest year yet and the league has quickly taken notice. Even prior to the showdown, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue called Oladipo is a bonafide All-star, according to Pacers reporter Mark Montieth:

Needless to say, Oladipo solidified Lue's notion by going off for 33 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Despite the stellar stat line, he did most of his damage early on before going ice cold in the fourth quarter.

However, the former second overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft managed to make his one field goal count with a clutch three-point dagger that essentially sealed the game for Indiana. More importantly, it showed plenty of poise from the fifth-year man out of Indiana to not shy away from the big moment.

Oladipo continues to be one of the most surprising players in the league this season. If he can lead this competitive Pacers squad into the thick of the Eastern Conference, there is no doubt he makes his first career All-Star team. Especially with the recent migration of last year's members to the Western Conference.
