After their 118-111 scrimmage victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo praised the performance of big man Myles Turner. Oladipo also hinted that he might suit up for the rest of the bubble, contrary to previous reports that he might sit out to rehab.

In 24 minutes of action, Turner chipped in 15 points, three assists, eight rebounds, and two blocks. Oladipo, who's seen as the Pacers' leader and best player, gushed on Turner's performance, adding that he'll keep on motivating the big man.

“He's always had the talent. Always had it. Now I have to be there to make sure he never forgets how good he is and continue to lift all my teammates up the best I can. We just continue to take steps in the right direction so we can do something special,” Oladipo said, per Mark Montieth of pacers.com.

Turner missed the Pacers' first scrimmage. But his most recent performance reveals no signs of rust whatsoever. Oladipo, for his part, dropped 16 points (4-of-8 from deep), seven rebounds, and three assists. His appearance is not yet an indication that he's going to suit up for the eight remaining games and the playoffs. However, this is still a good sign that he's healthy.

“I went out there and did some good things,” he said matter-of-factly. “Just have to keep building, taking it one day at a time, reassessing after every day. Just continue to keep my mindset. Keep working hard, continue to stay hungry and continue to attack every day the best I can.”

The Pacers, who have already clinched the playoffs, will first face the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA season restart.
