Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo will announce on Saturday if he plans to play in the seeding games.

Oladipo played in the scrimmage games for the Pacers. However, he hasn't revealed if he's going to play when the games matter.

When asked by reporters about his status for the real games, Oladipo told the Pacers media, “I don't know. We'll see. I'm assessing every day. Nothing is definite. I'll see how my body responds.”

In the 13 games he played in before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March, Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest. The two-time All-Star shot 39.1 percent from the field, 30.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.0 percent from the free-throw line. Oladipo missed the beginning of the season recovering from his injury.

If Oladipo ultimately decides not to play in the seeding games or playoffs, the guard's relationship with Pacers management could take a hit and we may have another Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs situation on our hands.

Hopefully, it doesn't get to that point. Indiana already lost Paul George in 2017. The last thing the fans in Indy want to see is Oladipo leaving town next.

Oladipo becomes an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2021. The Pacers tried to sign him to a contract extension before the 2019-20 season started, but talks didn't get too far.
