After another disappointing end to what was a rather impressive campaign for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers' future in Titletown remains to be a big mystery. The Packers are hoping that their superstar quarterback returns next season, but at this point, this is anything but a certainty.

Green Bay running back Aaron Jones has chimed in on the situation and while we were all hoping for a bit of insider information from the Pro Bowl RB, it turns out that even Jones himself has been left in the dark in all this:

“I've heard what everybody else has heard, what they're reading,” Jones said Tuesday on NFL Total Access Live, via Grant Gordon of NFL.com. “But I think he'll be there, in my heart. Green Bay, I can't imagine him anywhere else, that's where he's been his whole career. I just can't picture him anywhere else. I think we had a lot of fun this year, I hope to have him back and I believe in my heart he'll be back.”

Jones is clearly being optimistic about Rodgers' future in Green Bay. We've all heard this story before. At around this time last year, Rodgers nearly left the Packers only for him to commit his short-term future to the team. Jones is hoping that this is the case again this time around.
