Davante Adams' stunning departure from the Green Bay Packers left a gaping hole at their wide receiver position. Adams was Aaron Rodgers' best and most consistent weapon from that position. Losing him (and eventually Marquez Valdes-Scantling) meant that the team had to scramble and look for replacements for their room.

One of the ways that the Packers did that was through the draft, as they drafted three receivers in 2022 (including second-round stud Christian Watson). There are many questions surrounding their new receiver room, but Rodgers believes that they at least have the physical tools to succeed. The four-time MVP said so in a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. (via NFL.com)

“Physically, they definitely look the part, all three of them,” Aaron Rodgers said. “All three of the guys we drafted, they all have physical gifts. Obviously the top two picks are bigger, Doubs and Watson, but the seventh-round pick's got a lot of stuff to him. So I think it's going to be great.”

Rodgers also believes that the Packers rookie receivers will be heavily tested during practice, as they'll be going up against some insane cornerbacks.

“There's no better teacher for them on what NFL ball's going to be like than going against our top three corners, Jaire [Alexander], Eric Stokes and obviously Rasul [Douglas],” said Rodgers. “So those guys will get a real quick initiation into the NFL.”

The Packers' success in the 2022 NFL season will hinge heavily on how their receivers adjust to the NFL-level of play. It will be ridiculously hard to replicate Davante Adams' consistent greatness. Collectively, though, Green Bay's receiving room has the talent to replicate last season's success.
