Aaron Rodgers' ex-girlfriend Olivia Munn thinks it's pretty awesome that the Green Bay Packers star quarterback has reportedly reconciled with his family.

Rodgers said earlier in the week that he spent his birthday with his parents, which led many to believe that the rift between the Packers quarterback and his family was officially over.

Munn and Rodgers were together for a while before splitting up last year, and she previously had strong statements about the issues facing both parties.

Here's what she had to say when asked about Rodgers being back on the right page with his family, courtesy of TMZ Sports:

“If that's true, it's amazing,” Munn told us outside of Rolling Greens on Thursday … “It's long overdue.”

It's easy to understand why Munn and others would be happy to hear that the past problems are seemingly behind the Rodgers' family.

As for the future Hall of Fame quarterback, he's now dealing with a transition on the field as the team embraces a new era following the firing of head coach Mike McCarthy.

The veteran coach was let go after Green Bay's 20-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last week, and it wasn't exactly unexpected due to the Packers' lack of success in recent years.

That now leaves the franchise in search of someone new to lead the team moving forward, and with a good nucleus in place, the Packers should have an opportunity to get things turned around quickly.

Rodgers and company will return to the field on Sunday for a showdown with the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field.
