The Green Bay Packers love to target Davante Adams in the passing game, but they have other forgotten weapons in the offense. After a slow start to the game, Aaron Rodgers was able to deliver a nice pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 50-yard touchdown versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was a dime:

The play began with Rodgers noticing that the Buccaneers were in man coverage, putting Carlton Davis on an island with Valdes-Scantling. Following the snap, Rodgers immediately turned his attention to the right side of the field and delivered a dime to Valdes-Scantling, who was able to create separation from Davis.

Valdes-Scantling has suffered from drops in his career thus far, but he has continued to improve year after year. As a result of his 50-yard touchdown on Sunday, Valdes-Scantling has four touchdowns of 50-plus yards, giving him the most in the NFL.

During the regular season, Valdes-Scantling saw an inconsistent role in the offense. He still finished the season with 33 receptions for 690 yards and six touchdowns for the Packers. Also, his 20.9 yards per reception were the most in the NFL among qualified wide receivers.

Earlier this week, Adams uttered that Rodgers is deserving of another Super Bowl in his career. It's evident that the other wide receivers share the same sentiment as Valdes-Scantling is contributing early in the passing attack,

The touchdown to Valdes-Scantling was able to tie the game after a fast start by the Buccaneers. But seeing how Tom Brady is playing early in the game, Rodgers may need his weapons to make more plays if Green Bay hopes to advance to the Super Bowl in front of their home fans. Not long after this Packers touchdown, the Buccaneers answered right back with a touchdown of their own to make it 14-7.
