Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were able to advance to the NFC Championship Game with a big 28-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks. It was a huge hard-fought win, but now the Packers are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers on the road next Sunday.

Following the Packers' victory over the Seahawks, Rodgers took some time to speak out about the game. As shared by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Rodgers could not be more excited about the next phase of the playoffs.

The game was going great for the Packers in the first half. They were up 21-3 at the break and ended up having a 28-10 lead in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Seahawks weren't done and made this game a scary one for Green Bay fans.

Rodgers had a solid game, completing 16 of his 27 pass attempts for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also picked up 14 yards on the ground. Those numbers don't look amazing, but they were exactly what the team needed to pick up the win.

In situations where the Packers needed a big play, Rodgers was able to come through for them. He will need to do the same next week against the 49ers.

All of that being said, the Packers were able to sneak into the NFC Championship Game. Green Bay lost to the 49ers earlier this season 37-8 and will be looking for revenge. Rodgers will need to have an even bigger game if they want to advance to the Super Bowl.
