The Green Bay Packers were dismantled by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, losing by a score of 37-8.

The Packers are still 8-3 on the season, but the way they lost to the 49ers was a major concern, especially considering that it may have ended their chances of notching a first-round bye.

Wide receiver Davante Adams took to Twitter on Monday to tell Green Bay fans that the Packers “have to be better” moving forward, and he vowed that they will, saying that he loves his teammates through “thick and thin.”

Adams logged seven catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

The wide out missed four games between Weeks 5 and 8 due to a toe injury. In the seven games he has played this season, Adams has tallied 46 grabs for 580 yards and a score.

Adams, who played his collegiate football at Fresno State, was originally selected by Green Bay in the second round (53rd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

It wasn't until Adams' third season that he became a big-time threat in the offense, as he caught 75 passes for 997 yards and 12 touchdowns that year. He followed that up by snaring 74 balls for 885 yards and 10 scores in 2017, making the Pro Bowl.

The 26-year-old then busted out last season, hauling in 111 receptions for 1,386 yards while reaching the end zone 13 times, earning another Pro Bowl selection as a result.

Green Bay will get a bit of a break over the next couple of weeks, as it will head on the road to take on the 2-9 New York Giants next Sunday before returning home to host the Washington Redskins, who are also 2-9, on Dec. 8.
