Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham left the team's practice on Sunday with a dislocated finger, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Graham, 32, is entering his 10th season in the NFL and second with the Packers. Demovsky adds that it “looked like” a ball deflected off Graham, after which the veteran tight end ran off the field to seek treatment.

The Packers signed the five-time Pro-Bowler to a three-year contract worth $30 million last offseason. He was a third-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2010 out of the University of Miami. After five seasons with the Bayou franchise, the Saints traded Graham to the Seattle Seahawks for a first-round pick. Graham spent three seasons with the Seahawks before becoming a free agent in 2018.

First-year head coach Matt LaFleur and Green Bay are hoping the veteran can stay healthy this season and help quarterback Aaron Rodgers reach the postseason again.

In his first season with the Packers last year, Graham and the franchise missed a playoff berth for the second straight year. The 35-year-old Rodgers is not getting any younger, and he will need strong pass catching and blocking from Graham to shore up the tight end spot and provide a consistent threat in the offensive arsenal.

Graham recorded 55 receptions for 636 yards and two touchdowns for the Packers last season, appearing in all 16 regular-season games.
