Tight end Jimmy Graham was undoubtedly the biggest name at his position going into free agency. Not surprisingly, he was scooped up by a contender in desperate need of some more weapons.

There have been plenty of rumors regarding the Green Bay Packers' current personnel on offense. They have somewhat addressed that issue by signing Graham to a three-year deal, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter

Packers intend to sign TE Jimmy Graham to a three-year deal, sources tell ESPN.

The Seahawks made quite the investment for Graham prior to the 2015 NFL season. However, the five-time Pro Boler was never able to find his footing in the offense. As a result, his numbers were a far cry from what he enjoyed during his time with the New Orleans Saints.
Although Graham is coming off perhaps his worst year from a yardage standpoint, he is still every bit the red zone threat he used to be. He registered 57 catches for just 520 yards last season, however, he made up for it by hauling in 10 touchdowns. That said, quarterback Aaron Rodgers has to be giddy at the prospect of finding Graham in the end zone.
When Rodgers went down, it became clear that the Packers had some serious voids to fill in the offense. While the addition of Graham does not address all of them, it at least gives their star quarterback a formidable weapon to use in red zone situations. Meanwhile, they still must address their looming wide receiver situation this offseason before giving Rodgers the lucrative contract he desires.
