The Green Bay Packers have had the same kicker since 2007 and it appears they aren't interested in finding a new one for next season. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mason Crosby has agreed to a three-year deal with Green Bay.

Back in 2007, the Packers selected Crosby in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Colorado. Prior to the 2019 season, there was a chance that Crosby wasn't going to return to Green Bay as the starter.

While Crosby was recovering from a calf injury last offseason, the Packers claimed Sam Ficken off of waivers. Even when Crosby returned, Green Bay chose to have a kicking competition during training camp.

Despite missing some time with injury, Crosby beat out Ficken and was able to kick in his 13th season in the NFL. In his 13th season, Crosby was nearly automatic as he made 22 of his 24 field-goal attempts. Additionally, the veteran placekicker converted 40 of his 41 extra-point tries.

Over the course of his career, the Colorado product has made 81-percent of his field goals. At the same time, he's only missed 12 of his 600 extra-point attempts. Even though he's never made a Pro Bowl in his career, Crosby has been one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL.

Just this season, Crosby carried a cap hit of $4.85 million as he entered the final year of his contract. But after a productive season in 2019, the Packers are confident in bringing him back for another three years. There's no reason to believe that Crosby is going to end his career anywhere else but Green Bay.
