Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are facing off against the Detroit Lions this afternoon. It is a big game for both teams, although the Packers know they need this one to keep pace with their goals to win the NFC North division title. Unfortunately, there have been major concerns about their offense so far this year.

According to a report from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Rodgers is frustrated with the state of the Packers' offense right now.

The report makes it clear that there is unrest between Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy. They also seem to put McCarthy on the hot seat as far as his status as head coach moving forward to next season is concerned.

La Canfora mentions the Packers' lack of a true workhorse running back as a source of frustration for Rodgers. Having a consistent running game would give the aerial attack much more room to work. Jamaal Williams, Ty Montgomery, and Aaron Jones are all talented, but none of them are star backs.

In addition to those issues, Rodgers likely still isn't happy about the Packers' decision to release longtime star wide receiver Jordy Nelson this offseason.

Rodgers has been dealing with a nagging knee injury since Week 1, but has still found ways to put up big numbers and lead his team to wins. It appears that his knee is healing slowly but surely, which is great news for the Packers and their fans.

Throughout the first four games of the 2018 season, Rodgers has completed 63.5 percent of his pass attempts for 1,130 yards, seven touchdowns, and an interception.

Hopefully, the Packers will be able to get their offense on track and get their quarterback back to his smiling ways. If not, big changes could be coming for Green Bay once again next offseason.
