Aaron Rodgers’ perfect throw leads to impressive Davante Adams first-half TD for Packers

Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Packers

The Green Bay Packers are looking to make a statement against the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL season opener. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams wasted no time making it come to fruition.

Rodgers somehow managed to thread the needle to his favorite target in wide receiver Davante Adams for the spectacular touchdowns, via NFL Twitter:

Rodgers heard all the talk regarding his “uncertain” future after the Packers drafted his successor under center in Jordan Love. Although he may have been coming off a rocky 2019 campaign by his elite standards, he is providing ample proof of why this is still his team for the foreseeable future.

While Green Bay caught plenty of flak for not using their resources to secure more firepower on offense, Adams is not having any problem getting open for Rodgers. It is safe to say that this is just the first of many touchdown connections between this dynamic passing duo this season.
