Joe Brady did wonders at LSU with Joe Burrow and Christian McCaffrey thinks he will have a positive impact on the Carolina Panthers' offense. Brady is a first-year offensive coordinator, and Matt Rhule is a rookie NFL coach, which has made some question just how much they can accomplish in their first year.

McCaffrey knows there have been plenty of rookie coaches that have found success, and he has confidence that Brady is going to raise everyone's level.

“He’s able to utilize not just me, but everybody,” McCaffrey said, via ESPN.com. “And put everybody in a position they can best help the team win. That’s something that’s not easy to do. It’s not one system. It’s a constant changing. You look at what he did with the LSU program this year, possibly the greatest college team of all times. It was fun to watch as an outsider before I knew he was our coach. Now that I know he is [the Panthers’ coach], I’m extremely excited.”

There are still a lot of questions, about the offense, including who will be the quarterback, but Brady should be able to do great things with McCaffrey.

During the 2019 season, he rushed 287 times for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also caught 116 passes for 1,005 yards and four touchdowns. It's going to be hard to surpass those numbers, but if any offensive coordinator is going to get him out of it, it's going to be Brady. He has proven to be one of the smartest minds in football, and with another good year, maybe he could have a head coaching job.
